The Centre is the bridge between the worlds of applied research in AI and data analytics and their commercial deployment.

The Centre’s work focuses on developing tools, techniques and technologies that enable more people, organisations and industries to use analytics and AI for better decision making, unlocking hidden insights and sustained competitive advantage.

CeADAR has particular strengths in predictive analytics, machine and deep learning artificial intelligence, real-time analytics text analytics and natural language processing, data visualisation, blockchain and smart contracts,
computer vision and image analytics.

Industry membership of CeADAR has grown significantly in recent years and now totals 90 industry partners ranging from multi-nationals to indigenous SMEs spanning every industry vertical. The Centre is also the focal point of a thriving national ecosystem delivering frequent seminars, conferences, and members’ networking events throughout the year.

The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya BarcelonaTech (UPC) is a public institution of research and higher education in the fields of engineering, architecture, sciences and technology. Every year, more than 6,000 bachelor’s and master’s students and more than 500 doctoral students graduate (academic year 2022-2023). The UPC has a high graduate employment rate: 93% of its graduates are in work and 76% find a job in under three months in accordance with the 2017 AQU Catalunya survey.

The UPC is an International Campus of Excellence with two projects: the Barcelona Knowledge Campus and the Energy Campus. Technische Universität Braunschweig is a technical university,based in Germany, with a rich tradition and a proven research and teaching profile.

It has a complete engineering branch covering architecture, civil and environmental engineering, electrical engineering, informatics and mechanical engineering. A strong natural sciences branch with an excellent professional network within TU Braunschweig. Also has a business sciences, social sciences, humanities, educational sciences and subject-specific teaching skills, all of them well integrated into TU Braunschweig.

The National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos” (NCSR Demokritos) is the largest multidisciplinary research center in Greece, with critical mass in expertise and infrastructure in the fields of Informatics and Telecommunications, Nanotechnology, Energy & Environment, Biosciences, Particle and Nuclear Science.
With more than 1,200 staff, approximately 180 Researchers and more than 500 research staff working on numerous projects funded by the Greek State, the European Union, International organisations and the Industry, NCSR Demokritos conducts world-class basic and applied research, for advancing scientific knowledge and promoting technological development in selected areas of national socio-economic interest. FOUR DOT INFINITY (FDI) is a Greek-based SME (6G-IA & ADRA member) with a robust track record in R&D within European frameworks (6G-CLOUD, MANOLO, CyclOps, ENACT) and over 20 years of experience in cutting-edge solutions in 5G/6G networks, Industry 4.0/5.0 and Cloud-Edge-IoT, leveraging cloud-native and open-source tools applying them in real-world environments.

The Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, headquartered in Erlangen, Germany, conducts world-class research on microelectronic and IT system solutions and services. Today, it is with more than 1170 employees the largest institute of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. 72 percent of the budget of 189.7 million euros a year is financed by contract research projects.

Fraunhofer IIS was instrumental in the development of mp3 and AAC and played a significant role in the digitalization of the cinema. Besides current developments in this area, the institute researches technologies for sensor technology, data transmission technology, data analysis methods and the exploitation of data as part of data-driven services and their accompanying business models. The results of this research have been applied in the areas of connected mobility, communication and application solutions for the Internet of Things, digitalization of human sensing, product and material monitoring, and business analytics in supply chains.
